Caramelised Onion Baguette

A quick and easy way to transform a simple baguette into a warm & delicious crowd pleaser.

We use and recommend the delicious Onion Jam by New England Larder, made in Stanthorpe using the best ingredients, and lots of love and attention. We always have it in stock at Kitchen to Table.

100g butter, softened
4 tsp onion jam, such as New England Larder Onion Jam
1 sprig rosemary, leaves finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1 baguette

Preheat oven to 190C.
Combine the butter, onion jam and rosemary in a bowl and mix to combine. Season with salt.
Slice the baguette at 2cm intervals, but do not cut all the way through.
Divide the flavoured butter evenly between the slices. Wrap the baguette in foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until hot and crispy.
