The Benifjui chefs knife 21cm is part of the Shun family and is an elegant but durable Japanese knife. This is Meredith’s favourite knife which she uses in our cooking school.
The full tang provides durability and prevents your hand from fatigue under prolonged use.
The Pakkawood handle is comfortable to hold and very durable. The handle is made from compressed and laminated Pakkawood that is water-resistant.
Each blade is constructed from 8A Stainless Steel and is treated with a 3 Chamfering Process which reduces the friction against food and the blade. The edge on the blade after manufacturing is finished with a special grinding process which results in a smoother blade, thus giving the blade a superior cutting edge and requiring less force or power for cutting as the blade has an extremely sharp cutting edge.
