Use this cane basket to prove your dough … it will give it a nice shape. Before first use mist with water (use a spray bottle) then liberally coat with flour (make a combination that is 50% rice flour and 50% flour), a flour shaker is a great way to apply a thick layer of flour. Apply another layer of flour before each bake to ensure the dough releases from the basket.
Note: Do not bake in the proving basket! Rather, turn the dough out onto a tray, pizza stone or into a dutch oven to bake.
