The Flood of 2022 has severely impacted South-East Queensland and Northern NSW and is now headed south to Sydney. It has been a wild few days here in Yamba and our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted by this flood event.
The flood has seen the shelves in the local supermarket cleaned bare and it may be several days before fresh supplies are available again. So, this may be the time to go through your pantry, fridge and freezer and get creative with your cooking.

It’s going to take time and lots of resources to recover from the flood of 2022 but we have seen communities band together to help one another. In all of the loss and devastation, the strength and resilience of the community is inspiring.
