Yamba Cooking Classes
If you’re looking for an enjoyable way to learn simple, delicious recipes you can recreate for family and friends at home, then you’ve come to the right place!
We offer small-group cooking classes (up to 8 participants) for people who enjoy food and the convivial nature of cooking and sharing a meal.
Our cooking classes run from our home in Yamba NSW. We design each menu around a cuisine, such as Spanish, Greek, Thai, Vietnamese, or Italian, to name a few, and we aim to use locally sourced and seasonal produce. Throughout our classes, we share lots of tips and tricks to help make cooking easier and more efficient.
Cooking classes are led by Meredith, who has been teaching cooking classes since 2013 and hosting international food tours since 2016. The cooking classes began in our now-closed kitchen shop, Kitchen to Table, as a way to share our passions for food and cooking with our customers.
Meredith has had a strong interest in food and cooking, often preparing meals and baked treats for her family, from the age of 12. After studying hotel management, where she began her formal training in the hospitality industry and honed her kitchen skills, she worked in restaurants and hotels before opening a cafe where everything was made from scratch.
Learning is an ongoing process and Meredith continues to do courses and study to improve her knowledge and skills, which flows through to her classes and tours.
